Manage your notification preferences

Choose exactly what Doorkeep tells you about, and how.

Written by Andy Peters

Control what you're notified about under Settings → Notifications. Preferences are per person, so each teammate tunes their own.

Doorkeep groups notifications into four areas.

Critical Alerts

Emergency Interactions (Tier 3) — always on. When Doorkeep detects a true emergency, you're alerted no matter what. This can't be turned off, by design.

Important Alerts

Turn these on or off individually:

  • Important Interactions (Tier 2) — calls that need attention but aren't emergencies.

  • Call Summaries (All Calls) — an email after every call.

  • Callback Reminders — an email when a scheduled callback is due.

SMS Notifications

Text-message alerts for time-sensitive events. These require account-level SMS to be enabled first.

Digest & Summaries

  • Weekly Performance Summary — call volume, routing, and performance metrics.

  • Daily Call Digest — a summary of the previous day's activity, with a delivery-time picker and an option to send even on quiet mornings.

What to expect

  • Changes save the moment you flip a switch — there's no separate Save button here.

  • These settings are yours alone; they don't change what your teammates receive.
