Call summaries and the daily digest

Get a summary after every call, or a once-a-day recap — your choice.

Written by Andy Peters

Doorkeep can email you about individual calls as they are analyzed, or send one daily digest of the previous day. Set both under Settings → Notifications. These are your own settings; each teammate sets theirs.

Emails about individual calls

There is no single "every call" email. Instead, choose which calls you want in your inbox:

  • Important Calls (Tier 2), under Important Alerts: emails the AI summary as soon as an important call is analyzed.

  • Leasing Calls and Maintenance Calls, under Calls by Category: email every call of that kind, including routine ones that would not otherwise reach your inbox.

Emergency calls are emailed to everyone on your team once the call summary is ready. That email has no switch and can't be turned off.

Once a day

Prefer one recap instead of a stream of emails? Turn on Daily Call Digest for a summary of the previous day's call activity. When it's on, you can also set:

  • Delivery Time (Your Local Time): pick when it arrives, from Early Morning (6 AM) through Night (9 PM). It uses the timezone on your profile.

  • All-clear summary on quiet mornings: send the morning summary even when nothing needed you. Leave it off to hear from Doorkeep only when there's something to report.

Weekly emails

  • Weekly Performance Summary: a bigger-picture email with call volume, routing, and performance metrics.

  • Weekly Open Calls Reminder: sent Monday mornings when the daily digest is off, so calls that still need follow-up get chased. The digest already lists them, so you never get both.

What to expect

  • Per-call emails and the digest are independent. Run both, either, or neither.

  • Switches save as soon as you flip them. There's no Save button on this page.

  • Text message alerts work differently: they go to your Call List, not to a personal switch. See Get notified by text (SMS).
